I am near to being his patient for 25 years !  The office staff schedules appointments for him so that your wait is not long at all even though he spends a good amount of time with you during a visit. He has an agenda for your visit and is very helpful in making good referrals to specialists if need arises. Yet, he is near by and always willing to stand his ground for you. Seems to keep up with all new areas in medicine, very knowledgeable. Dr. Alvaro Pena is a great Doc & good man. He watches out for you, knows your issues & works with you.  I have some complex medical issues,  & he has helped me work through them as an honest caring professional. I would highly recommend him to others, you will not be disappointed,  feel like you need a second opinion or be left uncomfortable or in pain that he is able to address.
